We are looking for a Detailer for our Columbus office!

Summary: Review Kingspan shop drawings and detail every project to create an accurate bill of materials list.

Essential Duties:

• Conduct quality checks on bill of materials.
• Verify mathematical calculations.
• Verify all change orders are incorporated on every project.
• Provide an accurate count of panels, trims, and accessories.
• Produce a bill of materials (BOM) list in company format from final approved set of drawings.
• Monitor processes for compliance with standards.
• Communicate with Project Coordinators and/or Drafters as needed.
  

Education/Experience:

• Associate's or Technical degree or appropriate level of related experience.
• Estimating experience a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
• Previous experience preferred in pre-engineered metal building and/or architectural design.
• Good communication and mathematical skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and problem solve with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work within a team environment. 

Computer Skills:

• Competency in AutoCAD required. (Revit experience a plus).
• Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Outlook.
